waitlist

We have lots of classes, and as a result many people on wait-lists.  What is the proper thing to do with the wait-list on expired classes? Can it be archived somewhere?  Or is the expected option simply to delete them?

The wait-list grows to so many it is difficult to manage, but I do not want to delete them because it is useful to be able to see who tried to sign-up.  I might want to email them in advance of the next occurrence of the class they were wait-listed for, but that occurrence may be a year later.

Comments on how Neon expects the wait-list to be used would be very helpful.  Thank you.
