Remove Form Builder Requirement to Display Pre-Set Amounts and a Recurring Donation Button

We would love to use the new Form Builder to create more attractive donation forms. Unfortunately, we won't be able to do that until/unless you remove the requirement that we display a recurring donation button and pre-set suggested donation amounts. (I've tried to set up a form that allows donors to enter their own amount, but the open text field doesn't display and I can't get rid of the elements mentioned above.)
We are a membership organization, and asking our members for additional funds in the form of donations is a different "ask" than it is for non-profits whose only income is through donations. We don't even know what pre-set levels would encourage the majority of our members to donate or turn them off completely.
It's really disappointing that we can't switch to the nicer-looking forms, so I hope the Builder can be made more flexible. Thanks.

Thank you for the feedback about the new form builder!
It's currently possible to turn off the Recurring Donation button option on the new forms - when you're in the form builder, click on the "Donation Frequency" box, hover your mouse over the recurring donation option, and then click the small "x" to the right of the option. This will remove it from your form.
I am logging your feedback about offering only a write-in amount on the forms. We're planning a few improvements for the Amount section on donation forms, although we don't have an official release date scheduled just yet, and we will include this update.

I'm sorry this was causing trouble for you! When you're inside the Form Builder > Form Editor section (the second button on the left-hand panel), it should be possible to click into the Donation Frequency box and either change the Recurring Donation frequency option or remove it entirely if you prefer to offer only one-time donations. If that still isn't working for you, please let us know at crmsupport@neonone.com - this should definitely be possible with the new forms! Also just a reminder that you'll need to click "Publish Changes" at the top right to save your changes.

Thank you again for the feedback about the new donation forms! We made an update (available as of 6/11/22) to allow all pre-set donation options to be removed from the form to leave only the open amount entry box. With this option, the suggested donation amounts will be hidden and the "Other Amount" filed (which you can rename whatever works best for your donors) will be the only option, appearing by default on the form.
Hopefully this change will make it easier to start using the new form layout, but please let us know if there are other changes you need!
