While trials allow you to explore Neon CRM's robust functionality, they are not an exact copy of live Neon CRM systems. Due to various technical and logistical factors, there are a few things which are not possible in trials.

You cannot connect Neon Pay to a trial. Relatedly, you cannot configure Donor Covered Fees in trials, because this requires that Neon Pay is connected.
However, you can still create transaction records using the "dummy" payment gateway which is automatically connected.
System emails will only be sent to the email address listed in your Organization Profile.
Email campaigns cannot be sent from trials. However, you can create them and preview the content.
Import Manager Size Restriction
In trials, a maximum of 2,000 accounts can be imported in a single spreadsheet. There are no such limitations in live Neon CRM systems.
Up to 5 workflows can be configured in trials.
By default, trials do not have access to the Neon CRM open API. To request access, contact the Support team.
Geocoding & Radius Search
Due to technical limitations, Geocoding & Radius Search is not available in trials.
The following third-party integrations can be connected to trials in order to preview functionality. If an integration is not listed below, it is not supported in the trial environment.
Trials have a different login process for users. In trials, user and constituent accounts both log in through the same place.
In live Neon CRM systems, users log in via the single sign-on Neon One Portal, which also connects to other applications such as Neon Pay.
Relatedly, 2-step verification is not available for trial logins.
Functionality Update Schedule
Neon CRM has monthly updates to functionality, which occur for live Neon CRM systems in the early hours of Saturday morning. Trials receive these updates on the following Monday.
