Create a Letter Theme
A letter theme is a graphical layout for your campaign letters and system letters. A theme is like a shell that holds your content. When you are building a theme, you are not actually building a letter. Rather, you are making the graphical container for your message, which you will add later.
1. Select the Settings Cog in the upper right corner and then select Global Settings on the drop-down menu.
2. Scroll down to the Communications section. Below Transaction Acknowledgement heading, select Letter Themes.
3. Select the New Letter Theme drop-down and then select the New Letter Theme.
4. On the pop-up enter a name for your new theme in the Letter Theme Name field.
After, select the Set as Default letter Theme toggle to the On position if you wish to make this new theme your default theme.
Select an existing theme from which you can begin creating your new theme rather than starting from scratch. When finished, select Next at the bottom of the pop-up.
5. You are now in the Theme Builder. All available settings are available in the left-side menu. The image on the right side of the page is a rough draft of your letter's theme. If, at any time, you wish to view a preview of your letter theme, select Preview in the upper right corner of the page.
a. Letter Settings
In the Letter Settings section of the left-side menu, select the radio dial that best fits your paper. You can print on blank paper or on a letterhead.
b. Letter Styles
Fonts - In the Letter Styles section, you may control the fonts for the header and body sections of the letter theme.
Header & Footer Heights - To make these adjustments, Select the Heading Font and the Body Font.
Note: You may adjust these later when you are creating the actual letter content. Then, Adjusts the header and footer heights by changing the pixels in the field.
Background Colors - Select the three Background colors: Header, Default Body, and footer color. Note: You may adjust these colors later when you are creating the actual email content.
Content - If you wish to adjust the Padding of the email, or the space between the header, body, and footer, you may do so by adjusting the pixel number in the Padding field.
Margins - Lastly, under letter margins, Select the margins around your Neon CRM letter content. Keep in mind that the appearance of your printed letter may also be affected by your printer settings and margin settings. You can adjust top, bottom, left, and right margins in inches.
6. When you are finished making all adjustments, select Save & Close in the upper right corner of the page. Your theme will now appear on the letter Themes page and be available to select when you create a letter in the system.
7. Your Template will appear on the list of templates below. You can make your template the default by selecting the Actions icon and Set as Default.
