System Emails are automatically generated messages that Neon CRM can send to constituents. These messages are sent in response to a constituent performing some sort of interaction with Neon CRM. While Neon CRM has a predetermined list of automatic system emails, you can configure the content that will appear in each message by building your own versions.
Note: There are NO Neon CRM Standard Versions for Event Reminder, Birthday, or Donation Anniversary System Emails.
The different types of default system emails are broken out into six categories on the System Emails Page
Note: All email versions listed may not be available, depending on your Neon CRM subscription.
1. Navigate to Settings Icon and Select Global Settings.
2. Under Communications, select System Emails.
3. On the System Emails Landing page, you see all available system emails listed within a tab. Within each tab is a list of topic-related emails.
For example, to view the donation appreciation email, select the donation tab.
4. If you select the three-dot action menu, you can choose to add a new version, view the default version, and edit settings and versions. You may also perform these same actions by selecting the name of an email.
5. To view more details about a system email, select the name from the row.
6. This brings you to the Email overview page. Again, at the top, you can use the toggle to activate or deactivate this email. In the default settings section, select the edit button to make changes to the information in the section the name, email address, or email subject.
7. A list of all conditions is displayed in the Conditions section of the page, including the version with which each condition is associated and the condition itself. Selecting the three dot action menu next to the condition will allow you to edit or delete the condition.
8. In the versions section, you can see all versions of this email. You can filter by condition or status. You may also search for a version by utilizing the search bar on the right. If you wish to build a new version, Select build new version to create a new version.
