New

  • We've upgraded our PayPal integration to PayPal Partner: a more modern and seamless PayPal flow! 
    • What this means for donors:
      • Donors won't be taken to a separate window, the transaction will be completed within the Rallybound site. This will resolve the "Popup blocked" issue some users were encountering.
      • In general, the donating experience will conform with PayPal's more advanced implementation.
    • What this means for administrators:
      • Administrators will need to manually upgrade their PayPal integration in the Settings section of the org admin. If the integration is not updated, the legacy integration will still work for now.
      • The legacy PayPal option will no longer be available to edit in the campaign admin panel.

  • We've added a new autoresponder for donations that are marked as pledges when they are submitted. This can be done either by an admin, or by a fundraiser as an offline donation. The autoresponder is sent to the donor if an email was entered for them along with the donation. Additionally, going forward, the Online Donation Confirmation email will not be sent for these donations. The content of this autoresponder is editable in the admin panel, under Email > Auto Responders > Donation Pledge Confirmation. 

Improvements

  • All transaction grids in the admin panel (donations, recurring donations, registrations, and tickets) are sorted by most recent first by default.
  • A phone number can now be added to organization information (in the org admin), and can be used as a placeholder — {{ Organization.Phone }} — throughout the system.
  • Administrators can enable or remove roles for a user, with the exception of the fundraiser role, which cannot be removed once enabled.
  • Parent Campaign ID and Parent Campaign Name have been added to Champion Counts and Totals reports.
  • Updated the default success message for verify email from "My HQ" to "My Dashboard".

Fixed

  • Custom field values are now populating correctly in recurring plan and donation instance autoresponders.
  • The "Refund and Delete" button has been disabled for donations that cannot be refunded, namely offline donations. They may still be deleted.
  • Field options (for dropdown and multi-select fields) in the Registration Builder now require unique names.

Upcoming

  • New administrators will be prompted to add their name and profile image when they create their account.
