National teams allows organizations to aggregate and display fundraising efforts of teams and fundraisers across campaigns towards one national goal.
Fundraisers join national teams by joining a local team within their campaign that is associated with the national team. Being a member of an associated local team will automatically cause a fundraiser's fundraising efforts to roll up to the national team through their local team.
Some ways to join a team include:
- Via the team builder during registration
- Via the team builder accessible in the fundraiser dashboard
- Team fundraising pages and national team pages often display a "Join" button that, when clicked, direct the user to register with the relevant team preselected to join

It is possible to configure national teams such that fundraisers can join national teams directly, without having to join a local team. It is also possible to configure national teams such that if there is no existing associated local team on the present campaign, joining the national team automatically creates a new local team associated with the national team. In both of these scenarios, national teams will appear alongside local teams as available teams to join in the team builder interfaces. Viewing National Team Associations
Once a fundraiser joins a team associated with a national team (or joins a national team directly), they can view the national team information in their fundraiser dashboard, under the "My Team" tab. From there, they can also click out to visit the national team page.
For any local team associated with a national team, a widget will appear on the team page identifying the team as a member of the national team, along with the national team's goal amount and fundraising progress. From there, site visitors can click out to visit the national team page.
