National teams allows organizations to aggregate and display fundraising efforts of teams and fundraisers across campaigns towards one national goal.
National Team Page
The national team page displays aggregate fundraising information for all associated teams across all campaigns on the organization. This information includes amount raised, associated teams, team members, and recent donations. The national team page is structured just like any other fundraising page, with hero and profile images, page title and message, sidebar widgets, and comments. Additionally, unique to national team pages is a list of associated teams and team members, as well as a teams and members count widget.
The national team page's social shares can be customized in the Admin, under Website > Social Shares > Personal Page (National Team) items.
For logged-in national team managers, the national team page features editing and reporting tools, presented in dashboard tabs on the page. Click here to learn more about the capabilities of national team managers.
Navigating to the National Team Page
The national team page has a URL, and therefore will appear as a page, on every campaign to which it is applied and/or has an associated team or fundraiser. The content of the national team page itself will appear the same regardless of the campaign, however the header, footer, font, colors, and some campaign-configured terms will all reflect that of the campaign within which the national team page is being viewed.
The URL structure of the national team page is: [ Campaign URL ]/nt/[ National team URL ]. This URL structure will be the same for all campaigns to which the national team is applied. For example, the national team page for "Team Awesome" will reside on one campaign (platform, in this case) at "https://pacificocean.rallybound.org/nt/teamawesome
" and on another campaign (within the platform) at "https://pacificocean.rallybound.org/mycampaign/nt/teamawesome
". The content of the national team page in both locations will be the same.
The national team page is editable and can be managed by the national team manager at its URL within any campaign, and any changes made in one campaign will apply to all. Similarly, changing the custom URL of the national team will change the respective path (following "/nt/") to the national team on all campaigns.
Some direct ways site visitors can navigate to national teams include:
- Local teams associated with national teams display a link to their national team on their fundraising page.
- Logged in fundraisers who are members of teams associated with a national team can navigate to the national team page via the "My Team" tab in their fundraiser dashboard.
- Widgets can be added to campaign homepages to display national teams in various ways. Please contact us if you'd like to configure something like this.
- All national teams associated with a campaign can be viewed at [ Campaign URL ]/nt-list.
Customizing the National Team Page Structure
The national team page structure can be customized in certain ways, allowing organizations to better conform national team pages to their requirements. Some of the ways the national team page structure can be customized are:
- By default, teams are display in list format. They can alternatively be displayed as cards, either in a grid or a horizontal slider.
- By default, teams and members lists are displayed within tabs. They can alternatively be displayed directly on the page, one after the other.
- Sidebar widgets can be reordered, and some may even be moved to the main page area.
To make any of these changes to your organization's national team pages, please contact our support team. Note that any structural changes must be applied to all national team pages across the organization.
