The first address and phone number a user enters when interacting with a Neon Fundraise organization — whether when registering, donating or by entering contact information in the User Profile — is set as their address and phone number. Users can always update their address and phone number in the User Profile section, and administrators can update this information in the user’s contact record in the Admin.
If the user enters a different address and/or phone number in a subsequent registration, the new information is set as the user’s new address and phone number. The older information is not lost, but is also not displayed anywhere to the user.
Address and phone information entered with a donation are set as the billing address associated with that specific donation or with the payment method if it is being saved. In the former case, the information is displayed on the payment record in the Admin, and in the latter case, this information is displayed to the user in the User Profile > Payments section.
