Administrators can include a tribute section on their donation forms, allowing donors to donate in tribute, send a notification of their donation to a family member or friend, and even send ecards with their notification. To enable tribute fields on your donation form, log into the Admin, navigate to the Form Builder in the desired campaign, and expand the Tribute form. If the Tribute form doesn't appear in your campaign's Form Builder, please contact Rallybound support to activate it.
Tribute Form Sections
The Tribute Form includes multiple sections, each of which relates to a different aspect of the tribute form and which have default fields to be used for tribute donations. Each section includes the following features:
- Activate or deactivate to manage whether it is displayed on the donation form.
- Change the section name as desired.
- Add a description to the section to better explain to the donor how to use it.
- Expand the section by default if you would like that particular section to be expanded on the donation form. If the section is not expanded by default, the donor will be able to expand it by clicking on the relevant section.
- Custom fields may be added in any section (it is recommended that they be appropriate to the section they are in).
Note: required custom fields will validate only if they are visible on the page. If they are hidden within a collapsed section, the user will not be prompted with the "field is required" error message.
Tribute
This section is related to the tribute donation in general. For example, it would be appropriate to include a custom "Tribute Type" field with options for "In Memory of" and "In Honor of" in this section.
Notifications
This section represents the notification the donor elects to send to a family member or friend, notifying them of the donation.
Default fields included in this section:
- Name: This field represents the name of the person to which to send the notification. This field is inactive by default, but once activated, the value entered by the donor into this field will populate the email placeholders

in the Donation Tribute Notification autoresponder. - Message: This field represents the message to be sent with the email or mail notification. The value entered by the donor into this field will populate the email placeholders

Notify via Email + eCards
This section includes the information necessary to send the donation notification as an email.
Default fields included in this section:
- Email: The notification will be sent to the email entered in this field.
- eCards: Populate this field with images donors can choose from to send in the notification email. By default, this image is included in the donation notification autoresponder.

Notify via Mail + Cards
This section includes the information necessary to send the donation notification as physical mail. Please note, the physical notification must be managed and sent by your organization.
Default fields included in this section:
- Address: Use this address as the location to which to send the physical notification.
- Cards: Populate this field with images donors can choose from to send as or with a physical card.
