Each System User can customize the sections and fields that appear on Individual and Company account pages. There are two options for page configuration:
- You can configure the order and visibility of sections in the Account Page sidebar.
- In addition, the fields in the About section can be ordered, added or removed as needed.
These settings are unique to each user. You can configure the view that is most useful to you and your specific work for your organization.
If you configure the settings of an Individual Account, the layout you choose will apply to all Individual Accounts. Likewise, configuring from a Company Account page will affect all Company Account pages.
Edit Account Sections
From an account page, click the Edit Account Sections button.
You'll be able to see all sections currently included in the Account Detail Page view, and either move (item 1 shown below) or exclude (item 2) any sections you want.
If any sections are excluded, you can add them back to the Included list.
Adding a section automatically puts it at the bottom of the Included list. You can find it there and move it if necessary.
Configure the About section
The About section appears at the top of the Account Detail page. It consists of the following components:
For Individual accounts:
- Generosity Indicator - The indicator comprises multiple areas that can be used individually or can be combined to define the value of the Generosity Indicator.
- Contact - Standard phone, email and address fields, as well as website and social media links
- Name - Standard Primary Contact name fields
- Account Details - Standard Individual Type, current employment, login, and other personal data fields
- Data Privacy & Consent - the account's current consent status for any configured communication methods.
- Custom Information - Account and Individual custom data fields in separate widgets by Custom Data Group. Any non grouped custom fields will appear in a single Non Grouped widget.
For Company accounts:
- Generosity Indicator - The indicator comprises multiple areas that can be used individually or can be combined to define the value of the Generosity Indicator.
- Company Information - company name, type, source, website and login info as well as their known Contribution Match status.
- Primary Contact - name, phone and address information of the company's primary contact as well as the role of this contact within the company.
- Data Privacy & Consent - the account's current consent status for any configured communication methods.
- Custom Information - Account and Company custom data fields in separate widgets by Custom Data Group. Any non grouped custom fields will appear in a single Non Grouped widget.
You can re-order these sections by clicking the Configure button at the top of the About section page.
You can move widgets around (option 1 below), remove entire widgets or individual fields (option 2), or restore anything that was previously removed (option 3).
If you've created groups for your account custom fields, each group will have its own configurable widget that you can move around the About section as needed.
Click "Save" at the top to save your changes.
These changes will affect your view of all accounts of that type (individual or company). This means that:
- Each view is personalized to the your user, so you can configure the view you need without affecting your colleagues. Changes to your account view will not affect changes to your other users' account view.
- Changes to the individual account layout will only be reflected on individual accounts. Changes on the company account will only be reflected on company accounts.
