Learn how to configure forms and pages using global settings in this guide.
Introduction
Neon CRM allows you to configure several settings that affect how your forms and pages appear to your constituents and the public.
Configure your front-end settings here: Settings cog > Global Settings > Forms & Pages.
Brand Logo
To add/update your Neon logo, header, and favicon images, navigate to: Settings cog > Global Settings > Forms & Pages > Brand Logo.
Brand Font and Colors
To update your brand font and colors, navigate to: Settings cog > Global Settings > Forms & Pages > Brand Font and Color.
On the Brand Font and Colors page, you may select your system default brand fonts. Please note: In order to ensure that everyone viewing your content will see it exactly as intended, Neon CRM is unable to support custom fonts outside of the list provided on the Brand Font and Colors page.
On the Brand Font and Colors page, you may also select your brand colors, both a primary color and a secondary color. Please note: It is recommended that the primary color be the brighter, highlight color (used for buttons and headers) while the secondary color be a more neutral, background color (used for form backgrounds and email backdrops).
Themes
To update your Neon CRM theme, navigate to: Settings cog > Global Settings > Forms & Pages > Themes.
A Theme provides a formatted layout for Neon CRM web content. Your default Theme uses your logo image as the header content.
A Theme, once created, can be used to replace the default on different versions of the following types of Neon pages:
- Campaigns
- Events
- Custom Forms
- Social Fundraising Pages
You can build or upload alternate web templates. This can be helpful when you have a campaign or event with a different look than the rest of your website. When you’re building a template, you’re not actually building the web page. You’re making the graphical container for your content.
Custom CSS
To access this feature, navigate to: Settings cog > Global Settings > Forms & Pages > Custom CSS
This area is used by Web Developers or by those that are familiar with CSS to make tweaks to your web template's display formatting. You can use the form to add CSS rules that will apply to the Default Template which is used for your front-end forms and pages.
You are welcome to add any CSS rules to your Neon CRM template, but the rules may not be reflected on your Neon CRM pages due to the overriding design of Neon CRM forms.
Additionally, Neon CRM is not responsible for and cannot troubleshoot any code entered in the Custom CSS section. HTML, JavaScript, and other languages are not supported.
Error Page Redirect
Neon CRM has a default error screen that constituents using front-end web forms will see in the event that an error occurs. You may specify your own error page to be displayed instead of the Neon CRM error page. To set this up, navigate to: Settings cog > Global Settings > Forms & Pages > Error Page Redirect
Enter the web address (URL) of the page you want users to be taken to in the event of an error, and click Save.
Google Analytics Tracking
Google Analytics code can be added to your Neon CRM template so that you can track Neon CRM page activity along with the pages on your own website.
To add or edit this code, go to Settings cog > Global Settings > Forms & Pages > Google Analytics Tracking.
On this page, you can do the following:
- Enter your Google Analytics Tracking ID into the field shown
- Toggle Google Analytics Tracking on or off as needed
- Click the Save button to save your changes.
Data Privacy & Consent
The Data Privacy & Consent page allows you to do the following:
- Enable you to allow constituents to have the option to grant consent for various uses of their personal data, such as receiving communications from your organization via email, phone, and SMS.
- Add your privacy policy information to the bottom of all front-end forms. You may add and edit your privacy statement text.
To access the Data Privacy & Consent page, navigate to Settings cog > Global Settings > Forms & Pages > Data Privacy & Consent.
Dynamic Sync Theme
This feature allows you to dynamically sync your theme with Neon CRM.
To access this feature, navigate to: Settings cog > Global Settings > Forms & Pages > Dynamic Sync Theme.
Standard Forms
Configure Fields & Sections
Most standard forms are managed with Configure Fields & Sections. Access this by navigating to Settings cog > Global Settings > Forms & Pages >Standard Forms > Configure Fields & Sections
