All donations in NeonCRM are classified under one of the following types:
- Donation - a gift that is not associated with any pledge.
- Pledge - a promised amount that is to be paid later, possibly in installments.
- Pledge Payment - a payment towards the balance of a pledge.
- Match Pledge - a pledge made by a company to match the donation of one of their employees.
Reporting on Donations By Type
To limit your report results to certain types of donations, use the Donation Type search field found under the Donation category.
For example, you can run a Donation Detail Report with the following search criteria to capture only Donations and Pledge Payments: "Donation Type is In Range Of DONATION or PLEDGE PAYMENT"
Save your Changes to see a summary.
You can Edit the Output Columns to add "Donation Type" field as a column in your report results.
