The Neon CRM "Do Not Contact" flag allows you to easily identify constituents that should be excluded from your organization's mailings. The Do Not Contact account flag can be added and removed by System Users and Admins.
Flagging as Do Not Contact
Do Not Contact can be used in two ways:
- To flag those who do not want to receive any form of mass communication from your organization.
-
To flag those who do not want to receive physical mailings (emails are okay).
To flag an account as Do Not Contact:
1. Select the three dot Action Menu at the top of a constituent's account page and then select Flag as "Do Not Contact"
2. On the Flag as Do Not Contact confirmation pop-up, select either of the two following options:
- Flag but do not opt out email if the constituent only wants to opt out of receiving physical mail. The constituent will still receive email communications.
- Flag as Do Not Contact if the constituent wishes to receive no communications.
Note: As stated above, the "Do Not Contact" does not necessarily stop constituents from receiving automatic System Emails such as a thank you email when they make a donation.
Once added, a red "Do Not Contact" flag is displayed next to the constituent's name on their account page, as seen below.
