The Class Meetings screen can be used to generate the different meeting times for your class. For example, an Acting 101 class might begin on Oct 1st, and continue every week for 6 weeks. Each weekly session of the class is considered a "meeting." Class meetings are optional for Enrollment setup. If you decide to set them up they allow you to take attendance for your class using the Enrollment Report "Class Attendance Sheet".
To generate class meetings:
- Go to Class Meeting set up page.
- Select a Term and click Go. Tip: term must already be built on the Term Dates screen.
- Select the class to generate meetings for and click Go. Tip: Class must already be built on the Classes screen.
- Input the from Date. This is the first meeting date for the class.
- Input the to Date. This is the final meeting date for the class.
- Select the day of the week you wish to build first. You will be able to repeat this step if the class meets more than one time per week.
- Input the time of date for the meetings on that weekday
- Click Generate Meetings to create those class meetings.
- Repeat this process for additional meetings of the same or different classes.
- The Remove Meetings button can be used to remove meetings.
