An important note on refunds in Neon Pay:
You will need to continue processing voids and refunds through the Arts People interface, as usual. Processing voids and refunds through the Neon Pay interface may interfere with Arts People reporting.
What is the difference between Void and Refund?
While a charge is pending, you can void, or cancel, the charge. A refund, however, can only be initiated after a charge has succeeded. A void will cancel the entire charge, whereas a refund may be in full or a partial amount. A void will cancel the charge immediately, while a refund can take anywhere from 2 to 10 days to settle.
How long do refunds take to process?
Refunds can take 2 to 10 days to process and settle in a patron's bank account, depending upon the financial institutions involved.
