Arts People now partners with NeonPay for credit card processing.
With this change comes several changes to the Arts People invoice and how to use Arts People reports when reconciling your credit card income.
Arts People staff is working to provide more reporting tools for you to use. While those are being released please read through this article for guidance on how to reconcile credit card income.

All Arts People clients will be transitioning to Neon Pay. The sign up process is done online through the Neon Pay portal.
Payout Timing
Neon Pay payout timing: weekly on Mondays at 6pm Eastern Time. Funds will show up in your bank on Tuesdays. Arts People fees are deducted automatically from your linked bank on Thursdays.
Invoice Timing
Arts People invoices will be posted on Mondays by 6pm PST
Invoice changes
Your Arts People invoices will be a list of billable items and an amount due, as opposed to the net amount due to you. You can take a look at the transactions and credit card fees that make up a deposit by logging in to Neon Pay and clicking the Payouts tab.
Neon Pay will collect your credit card income. Credit card fees will be automatically deducted from your payout.
Reconciliation
Arts People is working to improve options available for reconciling Neon Pay payouts. You have the ability to retrieve a Neon Pay payout batch ID to include in Arts People reports, so you can view the transactions included in a Neon Pay payout.
You can also create an itemized report for the same date range that your Neon Pay deposit covers. Be sure to filter out payment methods other than credit cards, like comps, cash, and checks. Then, group by date/time to view a chronological list of transactions. Please note that Neon Pay’s batch closes at 6pm ET and only includes settled charges - orders placed on the Monday of a batch’s closing date will likely not appear in that day’s payout, as the charges have not yet settled.
Add in the Arts People per item fee column to view the Arts People fee assessed on a transaction, and at the bottom, the total Arts People fees incurred on the batch of orders.
Please let us know if you’d like Arts People to create a report for you, which you can then save for future use.
PCI SSN Requirement
Neon Pay’s processing bank, like all processing bank, requires the Primary Owner’s Social Security Number, date of birth, and first and last name, in order to comply with government FinCEN (Financial Crimes Enforcement Network) regulations, and satisfy the KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements of all financial institutions. This information is collected at sign up and is submitted through a secure form and not stored.
