Performance Series are configured if you are planning to sell traditional Subscription Packages via the Subscription box office or public page screens. One series is built for each set of performances of the shows in the package.
Setting up Performance Series:
- Select the Season you are building series for, click GO
- Input the first series Name, such as "Series A - First Friday", or "Opening Night Series"
- Input the Sort Order number of how you want the series to appear in a list to the patron or box officer. Such as 1, 2, 3 in each series.
- Save
- repeat the above steps for every series
NOTE that the series function independently of the packages. So depending on the package the patron chooses, the system will identify which series can apply to that package and will automatically display them. For example, if you have a 4 show package that is a sub set of a 6 show package, just build the series of all 6 performances and the system will then display the 4 shows appropriate to the 4 show package automatically.
ALSO NOTE that a given performance should typically only apply to ONE series. However, if your venue size will allow it, there is an option on the Global Settings screen to allow a performance to be assigned to multiple series. Use this with care, as it can make your composite seat map appear to fill up very fast, since the seats are shared between multiple series.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: It is your responsibility to make sure prices are correct prior to making tickets available to your patrons, whether setup by you or by our staff. We recommend that you always thoroughly test your pricing, both online as well as from your internal box office screen, to ensure pricing is as expected. You are responsible for any errors in pricing, Arts People will not be held responsible for issues that occur with your payment processing due to incorrect pricing setup.
