This feature, allows you to group performances across shows (such as all your opening nights) or multiple performances within a show's run, like weekend performances and then either include or exclude this group of performances for pricing terms.
On the Performances setup screen, you can input a letter code, or codes, on each performance to make it part of a performance group. All your opening nights of your shows might have the letter code "O" for example. Preview performances might have letter "P" (case sensitive). Each performance can be part of multiple performance groups by inputting additional letters (such as OP in the above cases).
Then on the Pricing screen you can make any price term include that performance group by inputting the letter(s), or exclude performance groups by inputting the letter(s) preceded by a minus sign (-O for example).
Performance groups can be used to group shows for a package discount when you want the discount to apply only for specific set of performances, rather than for a package of shows. Or if a specific package or Pass includes all the shows except a set of performances that are priced higher, such as opening night galas, etc.
NOTE: Because there are so many possible configurations the pricing system can be complex to set up. We can assist you, and you can learn to implement your own pricing by requesting training on the pricing system. Until you are specifically trained you will not be able to save changes to the pricing screens. Once pricing is set up, final testing by you is required. Contact your CS Rep via your help desk if you need assistance.
