This article covers -
- Ticket paper size setup for box office ticket printing. See instructions below under "Paper size setup".
- Fixing incorrect box office ticket printing. Read through the notes below on the 2 most common causes.
The two most common causes of incorrect box office ticket printing:
1. The printer is using the wrong paper size. Instructions are below to fix under "Paper size setup"
2. The second cause applies only to printers that have previously been setup and now aren't printing correctly: The printer driver is corrupted. This can happen after a Windows update. To fix the issue:
a) Remove the printer from the device and unplug the USB attachment from the printer to the computer if applicable.
b) Search the computer to be sure the printer driver is also no longer present, if it is un-install it. After un-installing the driver, remove the printer itself (you will later re-add it once the new driver has been installed.)
c) The printer driver now needs to be re-installed. The correct printer driver for Windows for a BOCA printer can be found here: http://www.bocasystems.com/documents/WindowsDriverInstallGuide2016.pdf
The correct printer driver for Windows for a DYMO printer can be found here: http://www.dymo.com/en-US/labelwriter-450-turbo-label-printer#tab=Support
d) The printer needs to be re-added to the device.
