Selling Subscription as a Package, by Performance Series, from the Subscription Screens
This refers to traditional subscription packages, NOT Passes. The subscription screens, subscription public page or box office subscription screen, walk the user through selecting their package, then their performance series and seats, to complete their order.
Subscription Public Page:
Link from your website to the subscription public page. Note that if you have packages on sale from different seasons, you may need to use some special code in your link to this page. See Linking to Public Pages for details.
Subscription Box Office Screen:
- Click the subscriptions button (this button ONLY appears when there are traditional subscriptions to be sold - this is NOT for passes). This will take you to the screen to pick their package, the performance series (group of performances), the number of each person type.
- If your shows are assigned seating, you will then choose their seats from one or more composite seat maps - meaning you will be choosing ALL their seats for all the shows in the specific venue at once.
- Once you continue the system will add all tickets based on these selections to the order and you are ready to apply payment.
The subscription screens work best before single tickets go on sale, due to the composite seat mapping. In this case you may want to compile the order one show at a time per instructions below.
Selling subscriptions by Compiling a package order one show at a time
An alternative method of selling a subscription is to compile the package by adding one show at a time to the one order. Once all shows in the package are added to the order the discount will apply automatically. This can be done by patrons on the main ticketing page, or by box officers.
This method also allows the package to be customized with individual performance selection to each show and different seats for each show.
After selecting each show in the package into the order, the price will automatically adjust to subscription pricing.
