Pricing Groups are an optional tool that can be used to establish groups to which specific pricing rules apply. It's not recommended to add Pricing Groups at first when setting up your class pricing as they can add a layer of complexity to your setup that can make troubleshooting pricing errors more tricky.
To set up a pricing group:
- Select the term and click GO
- Using the blank row, input a group name and save
- You may repeat the steps to create as many groups as you need
Example: You might have a set of child classes that all get the same pricing. You can create a group called "Child Classes" then add that group to all those specific classes, then build one or more price terms that relate to that group of classes only, by setting the group in the price term. You could then do the same for "Adult Classes", for example.
