Lists can be created based on targeted criteria. To access this method click on "Targeted Lists" in the sub menu of the Marketing screen. The following methods are available:
Combine Lists -
Choose two different lists in the 2 available drop down fieldsThis method allows you to combine two different existing lists in a variety of ways, without any duplication.
- Merge - this will combine the entire contents of the two lists into a new list.
- Intersection - this will find the patrons who are on both the selected lists. It will not include patrons who were only on one list or the other.
- Difference - this will find those patrons who are on one or the other of the 2 selected lists, but will not include those patrons who were on both lists.
- Remove list 2 from list 1 - this will remove those patrons who were on list 2 from existing list 1.
- Add list 2 to list 1 - this will add those patrons who were on list 2 from existing list 1.
- Options will be present in some cases to delete the original lists when creating new
- In some cases you can create a new list by inputting the name, or you can update an existing list by choosing it from the drop down.
List of Donors -
This option allows you to generate lists based on donation amount and date range
- Input donation date range (this is based on donation date, not date of transaction)
- Input donation amount range (optional) (this is a cumulative total of donations made by the patron within the date range above)
- In step 3 input name of list, or choose an existing list to add members to
- click GO to run the list.
Ticket Buyers (by Date) -
This option allows you to generate lists of patrons based on date of ticket purchase (not date of performance).
- Input the date range of ticket purchase
- In step 3 input name of list, or choose an existing list to add members to
- click GO to run the list.
Ticket Buyers (by Show or Performance) -
This option allows you to generate lists of patrons based on the show and performance purchased.
- Select the season the show is in, then click Select Shows
- Select the show and click "Get Performances"
- Select a specific performance (optional - leave this field blank to select all buyers of all performances of this show)
- In step 3 input name of list, or choose an existing list to add members to
- click GO to run the list.
Package Subscribers -
This option allows you to generate a list of subscribers based on the package of shows they purchased, as defined on the Packages setup screen (see Pricing and Related Screens for details)
- Select the season
- Select the package you are searching for
- In step 3 input name of list, or choose an existing list to add members to
- click GO to run the list.
Patrons added (by date) -
This option allows you to generate a list of patrons based on the date they were added to your database originally.
- Input the date range you wish to search
- Choose to include people, organizations, or both
- In step 3 input name of list, or choose an existing list to add members to
- click GO to run the list.
Purchasers of a Retail Item -
This option allows you to generate a list of patrons based on retail items they have purchased.
- Select one retail item by clicking it from the list that appears (list only appears if you have retail items built on the Items for Sale screen).
- In step 3 input name of list, or choose an existing list to add members to
- click GO to run the list.
Pass Buyers -
This option allows you to generate a list of patrons based on specific Pass on their account.
- Select the Pass you wish to search for
- In step 3 input name of list, or choose an existing list to add members to
- click GO to run the list.
Ticket Add-On Buyers -
This option allows you to generate a list of patrons based on ticket add-on purchases
- Select a season, click Get Add-Ons
- Select ticket Add-on
- In step 3 input name of list, or choose an existing list to add members to
- click GO to run the list.
Multiple Show Buyers -
This allows you to find ticket buyers who have purchased more than one SHOW within the date range.
- Input date range
- Input # of shows purchased that you are searching for
- In step 3 input name of list, or choose an existing list to add members to
- Input name for new list, click GO
Gift Certificate Buyers -
This option allows you to generate a list of patrons who have purchased a gift certificate (not the recipients)
- Input the date range of purchase you are searching for
- In step 3 input name of list, or choose an existing list to add members to
- click GO to run the list.
By Membership Type or Level -
This option allows clients to pull lists by an overall membership type, or also by the level within the type. You also can optionally include patrons who's membership has expired if you wish.
- Select the overall membership type
- Select the level within that type (optional - leave blank for all levels)
- check box if you wish to include patrons who's membership has expired
- Input the name of the list, or choose an existing list to add members to
- Click GO to run the list.
By age -
- Choose age of patron between one age and a higher age
- Input new list name, or choose an existing list to add members to, click GO
Class Enrollment Purchasers -
Enables you to find class enrollment buyers.
- Input the class term, click GO
- Choose the classes you wish to search on
- Input new list name, or choose an existing list to add members to, click GO
By Pricing Term -
This option gives you the ability to pull patron list by the pricing term that has applied to tickets on their acct. This is valuable to find patrons who used a specific coupon, or received a special discount, etc.
- Choose Season
- Select price term you wish to find
- Input name of the list, or choose an existing list to add members to
- click GO to run the list.
By No Contact Requested -
This option allows clients to pull a list of patrons requesting no mail, no phone calls, and/or no email. (combining the 3 options does not narrow the search, it is inclusive).
- Select one or more of the no contact options
- Input the name of the list, or choose an existing list to add members to
- click GO to run the list.
Once you complete one of the above options, you will then have a new list under the name you specified, which will display the number of members found based on the criteria. (Exception will be the "update" option of "Combine Lists" which will simply add to the first list selected instead of creating a new list.)
