We're proud to announce the release of Arts People's new reports! After close evaluation and consultation with users of our system, we have finished version 1 of a full scale redesign of our reporting interface in order to allow users to create reports they need. The new reporting interface has 3 main categories: 1.) Standard, for reports most commonly used, 2.) Create, to allow you to build custom reports, and 3.) Saved, allows you to develop your reports and save them for using again and again.
What's changed? Good question! We've completely overhauled our reports interface. We've provided a list of standard reports meant to get you started quickly and a custom report feature that enables you to create highly configurable reports to provide you with the data you need. In addition to a host of standard yet customizable reports and a custom report creation tool, there are several PDF only reports that are pre-formatted to provide nicely formatted information in an easy to digest manner.
Below are highlights of the reporting tool. For a more comprehensive explanation of the reporting interface, visit our Report FAQ.
Standard reports
Standard reports are prebuilt reports that provide easy access to your data. These reports are broken down by category for easy access. Once you generate a standard report, you can customize it further and save for future use.
Create reports
Create reports walk you through a simple step-by-step wizard where you can choose which pieces of data you want included in your report. Once you generate a standard report, you can customize it further and save for future use.
Grid view
Grid view displays your generated report. Once your report is created, you can use any of the customization tools available. Options include: group, filter, sort by one or multiple columns, add/remove or reorder columns, full screen mode, run in PST time, sort.
Saved reports
All new reports can be saved, privately or with other members of your organization. Saved reports can be modified after creation. A public report can be changed to private, the report name can be changed, parameters modified, etc making it a very useful, robust tool.
PDF view
We've included additional format and distribution options with the print to PDF option. Print to PDF creates a PDF copy of the generated report. PDF reports include all rows of data presented in the report. Grouped rows that are not expanded in grid view will print expanded in the PDF. If you want less information in the PDF, simply use filters to remove the data you don't wish to include in the PDF version.
CSV download
The CSV export option allows you to download a CSV version of your report that can be opened and manipulated with any spreadsheet program. The data present in grid view is what will download. If you need additional data, add necessary columns to the report prior to export.
