What is Neon Pay?
Neon Pay is the in-house payment processor built by our parent company, Neon One. We have invested in our own integrated payments platform. Neon Pay puts control back in our hands and allows us to support our clients the way we need and want to, and also offers our clients enhanced functionality and reporting.
Neon Pay carries an all-inclusive cost of 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction (and an additional 1% for AmEx). If you’re using Authorize.net as your gateway only, and have a separate merchant processor, you’ll see that Neon Pay simplifies payments with the one streamlined charge listed above, instead of you having to make payments to Authorize.net, your bank, and CC processors separately. With Neon Pay, you can see a reconciliation report in Arts People that ties the CC payouts from Neon Pay to transactions in Arts People.
Clients using a third party processor will incur a $50 monthly support fee, seen on their Arts People invoices. That fee goes towards supporting third party processor integration and the security protocols that surround it.
