This page details the new functionality, changes, and fixes included in the April 2025 Neon CRM product updates.
New:
Next Gen Events (Monday, April 14th)
-
Membership Enhancements: Building off the release of Member Only Events, you can now choose to limit ticket types or discounts to all active members or specific membership levels.
- Member Only Tickets: Configurable within the Advanced settings for each ticket type. Tickets will be visible to non-members, but will not be available for purchase unless the constituent is logged in and has the correct membership.
- Member Only Discounts: Choose to limit your discount code or automatic discount to only be used by Members. Constituents will need to log in to use the code or trigger the automatic discount.
-
Other Discount Enhancements:
- Automatic Discounts: Automatically trigger discounts without the constituent needing to enter a code.
- Internal Name Field & Public Description Field: Internally name discounts in a way that matches your naming conventions (i.e. Mailer A vs. Mailer B); write a public description to appear on seat maps and ticket lists to give constituents context (i.e. Add 2 Tickets to your cart and save 5%).
- Copy Discount: You can now copy a discount within your event, making it easier to set up multiple codes at once.
- Increased “Per Customer” limit: You can now choose how many times a discount code can be used by a single customer. If limited, the constituent must enter an email address in order to validate how many times they’ve used the discount.
- “Uses” column: Within the discount table, you can now see how many times your discount has been used.
-
Event Visibility and Sales & Check-in:
- Hide Events from Public: Within the event Publish settings, you can now restrict visibility of your event to “Private” (hidden from lists/calendars, but direct link active) or “Admin only” (available to sales & check-in only, not published online)
- Sales & Check-in Search and Filter functionality: You can now search for your event from the list of events rather than scrolling. In addition, filters have been added at the Event and Occurrence level to allow you to filter by Upcoming, Today, Past, and All.
- Updated Discount visibility and logic: You’ll now see applied discounts on the ticket list and seat map (not just in the cart). Discount codes now require tickets to be placed in the cart before they can be applied.
