This page details the new functionality, changes, and fixes included in the January 2025 Neon CRM product updates.

New:

Campaign Letters

We've redesigned the Campaign Letter & Material Tracking experience:
- The Campaign Letter builder has been updated to match the new System Letter builder - create Campaign Letters using an intuitive and streamlined interface.
- Campaign Letter audiences can now be created by running any report from the letter page.
- A new Transaction Summary content block is available when building Campaign Letters.
  - Use this feature if: You'd like to mail year-end letters which include a customizable breakdown of donation details.

Login Name & Password can now be created while completing new account, donation, and membership forms.
- Existing forms can be edited to add the "Create Login Information" field; newly-created forms will automatically include this.
- If Account Match is enabled, security measures are in place to ensure that the new login credentials must be confirmed before being used to access existing data after an automatic account merge. A required System Email, "Login Activation (Account Match)", will be sent with a link through which the constituent must confirm their pending login credentials.
  - An optional second System Email, "Login Activation (Partial Match Queue)" is also available for manual merging.
- Use this feature if: You'd like to encourage constituents to set up their accounts so they can take advantage of information and resources you share through the Constituent Login Portal.
Tokens can now be added to the Constituent Login Portal Dashboard message.
Tokens can now be added to Web Pages.
All standard pages under Global Settings > Constituent Portal > Portal Pages now include a customizable Page Description section where messages can be added to the top of each page.
- Use this feature if: You'd like to customize what displays to your constituents on each page of the Constituent Login Portal. For example, you might want to customize the Manage Email Subscriptions page to include a message explaining your different types of email audiences.

A new recurring donation frequency, Daily, is now available.
- This option can be enabled under Global Settings > Fundraising > Recurring Donation Options.
- When enabled, Daily can be added as a frequency option on new donation forms by clicking into the Donation Frequency section.
- If a new donation form is configured to allow Daily recurring donations, donors can choose to donate a set amount each day or select an overall amount to be divided by the length of their recurring donation schedule.
Start Date and End Date are now available fields on new donation forms.
- To add these fields, click into the Donation Frequency section when editing a new donation form.
- If a donor enters a future Start Date, their recurring donation will begin on that date; a payment will not immediately be processed.
Use this feature if: You run a "give-a-thon" style fundraising drive to encourage donations within a certain time frame.

If an email address has been automatically opted-out as inactive, a system user can now manually opt them back in for 30 days.
- A new action, "Activate for another 30 days", is now available when selecting an automatically opted-out email address on the Sent Emails List. If an email sent to the email address is opened within that timeframe, the email address will be opted back in.
A line spacing tool is now available in Email & Letter Builders.
Multiple schedules can now be created for the Membership Due & Membership Overdue System Letters.
Account Type is now available as a condition in the Tribute Acknowledgement System Email & Letter.
CC & BCC information now display on the Sent Emails List.
The Letter Preview panel now includes options for Print with Test Data and Print with Tokens.
- Print with Test Data will populate realistic values for included Tokens, so you can more accurately preview how your letter's content will appear (ex: {{Constituent First Name}} will display Jo).
- Print with Tokens will simply display the Tokens as-is (ex: {{Constituent First Name}} will display unchanged).
A new setting, Dark Text/Light Text, has been added to the Email Builder to ensure that "View Online" and "Unsubscribe" text can clearly appear regardless of background colors or images.

You can now manage Role assignments for volunteers on the Opportunity detail page.
- In the Volunteers section of an Opportunity detail page, click on a checkbox next to a volunteer or select multiple volunteers. Then, select Add Role(s) or Remove Role(s).
The Account + Volunteer Information import type now allows Roles to be assigned to the volunteer's account itself, to the volunteer within an Opportunity, or to the volunteer within a Shift.

A new navigation menu item, Integrations, will appear if your Neon CRM system has the QuickBooks and/or Eventbrite integrations connected. The links here will provide another way to access your QuickBooks Sync list and Eventbrite Events list.
The Export generated from the QuickBooks Sync list's Transactions tab now includes Transaction Amount.

Fixed an issue where the Legacy Account Registration Form being unpublished prevented the Peer-to-Peer "Create Fundraiser" page from being available.
Fixed an issue with Next Generation Event System Emails where dollar amounts in the Order Summary section did not properly display on smaller screens.
Fixed an issue where the QuickBooks Sync Date and QuickBooks Sync Status fields did not properly appear in reports to user groups with the Financial Reports permission.
Fixed an issue where uploaded Email Themes did not load in the Email Builder.
Various behind-the-scenes bug fixes and performance enhancements.
