This page details the new functionality, changes, and fixes included in the December 2024 Neon CRM product updates.

New:

Chariot DAFpay (releasing December 16th, 2024)

US-based 501(c)3 organizations can now accept Donor Advised Fund (DAF) recommendations on Neon CRM forms by signing up for Chariot DAFpay.
- After enrolling through Neon Pay, you can add DAFpay to donation forms via the form settings, and DAFpay will automatically appear on any newly-created forms.
DAFpay payments will be added as a pledge in Neon CRM. Once payment is received, you can mark this inside Neon Pay. Neon CRM will then automatically fulfill the pledge, create a soft credit for the DAF Advisor, and send a soft credit acknowledgement. See the DAFpay guide for more information.
Use this feature if you want to tap into an additional giving option in which over $230 billion has been invested and accurately automate your reporting requirements for DAF grants to your organization.

You can now create custom fields and configure the checkout flow for Next Generation Event forms.
- Use existing event attendee custom fields created in Global Settings for Legacy Events or create custom fields while using the new form builder
- Forms can be copied and re-used to save time setting up future Events
The Form Analytics page provides at-a-glance data summaries and visualizations; form submissions can be edited by system users, and responses can also be exported for easy review
Custom fields added to Next Gen Events are available in the Event Attendee and Occurrence Attendee Reports.
Use this feature if you want to customize the registration process for Next Generation Events and collect more information during sign-up.

We've redesigned and consolidated the Custom Field management experience in Global Settings.
- Custom Fields of every type are now located in the same Global Settings section for easy access.
- Brand new user interface for custom field creation and management.
- Custom field format type names have been simplified, with some options now combined, to make setup more intuitive.
- New default "public field labels" save time with editing how fields appear on forms.

Canadian organizations can now use Neon Pay with Neon CRM.
- To get started, follow the steps in the banner shown at the top of your Neon CRM system
- Includes support for ACSS payments
Canadian organizations using Neon Pay can now take advantage of Next Generation Events.
- CRA receipting has been added to Next Generation Event transactions.

You can now connect multiple ACH (or ACSS, for Canadians) payment gateways to Neon CRM.
You can now configure Gateway Rules for ACH/ACSS payment gateways to control which types of transactions are processed by each gateway, as is currently possible with Card gateways.
- Use this feature if your organization wants to automatically route funds from transactions into separate bank accounts depending on fundraising campaign, event, store product, or membership level.

Fixed an issue with the QuickBooks Online integration where transactions incorrectly displayed as successfully synced if the integration found an existing sales receipt number which matched the transaction.
Fixed an issue where the Campaign Landing Page returned an error if multiple users were simultaneously editing the page.
Fixed an issue where the Recurring Donation Report unexpectedly returned inactive recurring donation schedules.
Fixed an issue where duplicate Complimentary Memberships were sometimes created.
Fixed an issue where external Activity Emails did not appear on the recipient's account.
Various behind-the-scenes bug fixes, security updates, and performance enhancements.
