This page details the new functionality, changes, and fixes included in the June 1st Neon CRM product updates.
New:
Grant Management
- New fields, Committed Amount and Committed Date, are now available.
- Tooltips with Amount and Date field definitions are now displayed for Grants.
-
A new section, Grant Report Tracking, has been added to Grant pages.
- Enter and manage funder reporting schedules and tasks; set reminders via Activities linked to specific reports and attach Files as needed.
- You can now split a Grant into multiple Grants.
- Similar to split donations, you can use this if multiple Campaign/Fund/Purpose allocations are needed for a Grant.
- The original Grant will be retained but can be filtered out in the Grants Report and Grants Forecast Widget via new settings. The Grants list now has a Hierarchy View button to see the relationships between parent and child grants.
Communications
-
Neon CRM will automatically manage Email Audience cleanup for organizations by opting out email addresses that have been receiving emails consistently for over a year without any interaction.
- If an email address has been receiving emails for over a year without any opens or clicks, the email address will be automatically opted out. You can view opted out emails via Global Settings > Communication > Blocked Email List.
- This change is in line with industry best practices for "sunsetting" inactive emails, and it helps improve Neon CRM's email deliverability and email server reputation.
- The following fields are now available as tokens in Email Campaigns:
- Account Current Membership Status
- Birthday
- Department
- Email 2-3
- Gender
- Job Title
- Middle Name
- Phone 1-3
- Phone 1-3 Type
- Suffix
- Website

- Relationship Note is now available as a search criterion and output column in the Names and Addresses by Account Relationship Report.
