Overriding a Parent Setting at the Group Entity Level

Now that you have created a group in your Neon Fundraise Admin Interface, you can customize your settings at the group entity level. To start, these group settings have inherited all organization entity-level settings. To apply different settings to this group and all campaigns within this group, you need to first override the desired parent settings inherited at the organization entity level.

For this example, you will conjure your group settings for an automated email whenever confirming a donor’s contribution.

Overriding a Parent Setting at the Group Entity Level

From your Organization Entity Level, locate and select your group from the list.

Then, select the Emails tab, then Automated Emails.

Locate the Donation Confirmation row under the Donation Emails section. Notice that the lock icon is closed, indicating that this setting is inherited from a parent entity level. For this example, the parent is the organization entity level and the child is the group entity level.
