Selling Tickets on Hold for General Admission Seating and Online Events
Selling Tickets on Hold for Assigned Seating Events
In the Events module, as a system user, you may sell tickets currently on hold. These tickets are not available for purchase by the general public.
Instructions
Selling Tickets on Hold for General Admission Seating and Online Events
1. Select Events in the navigation menu and then select Sales & Check-in in the drop-down menu.
2. On the Tickets page, select the event in either the All Events tab or the Today's Events tab, as applicable.
3. Select the event occurrence.
Note: Notice each event occurrence lists the total number of tickets remaining. This number includes the number of tickets on hold.
4. Select the Holds tab.
5. Enter the number of tickets you wish to purchase for the applicable ticket type (adult, child, etc.) and then select Add. The ticket(s) will be added to the cart.
Once all tickets you wish to purchase have been added to the cart:
6. Select Checkout.
7. Enter the constituent Name and Email Address, as well as the Payment Details and any applicable Discount Code. Once all information has been added, select Submit Order.
Ensure the Checkout Successful message appears to confirm the order has been processed.
Selling Tickets on Hold for Assigned Seating Events
1. Select Events in the navigation menu and then select Sales & Check-in in the drop-down menu.
2. On the Tickets page, select the event in either the All Events tab or the Today's Events tab, as applicable.
3. Select the event occurrence.
Note: Notice each event occurrence lists the total number of tickets remaining. This number includes the number of tickets on hold.
The venue's seat map appears. The seats on hold are outlined in green.
4. Select the seat you wish to purchase on the seat map and then select the Select button next to the ticket type you wish to purchase (adult, senior, etc.) on the pop-up. The ticket for the seat will be added to the cart.
Repeat step 4 until you have selected all the seats you wish to purchase.
Once all tickets you wish to purchase have been added to the cart:
5. Select Checkout.
6. Enter the constituent Name and Email Address, as well as the Payment Details and any applicable Discount Code. Once all information has been added, select Submit Order.
Ensure the Checkout Successful message appears to confirm the order has been processed.
