Instructions
As fundraisers join your campaign, they can develop their own fundraising pages. Administrators can set up default images to make these fundraiser pages feel uniform and complete. A default hero image is a banner that displays at the top of the page when fundraisers view the page. When this image is set up by default, it gives every person’s fundraiser page a similar look so it is easier to identify that this page is associated with a particular campaign.
We also recommend that administrators set up other commonly used default images such as:
- Team Page Default Hero Image
- Default Member Image
- Default Team Image
Adding a Default Hero Image
- Select Website and select Media Library from the dropdown menu.
- Before you can add an image to your media library, you need to enable editing. Do this by selecting Enable Editing.
Note: There is a timeout feature in your fundraise media library that requires you to enable editing. Repeat this step needed.
- Now, select Upload New Image.
- Select Browse and select your image. In the pop-up window, select Upload for your desired image.
Note: There are recommended sizes for images. See guide below for details.
- When media is first uploaded to your media library, it displays in the general section. Moving media into a different section makes it available in the corresponding widget on your fundraise website. Move the image to the Fundraiser Page Default Hero Images section by dragging and dropping it into the section.
Note: If you add multiple images to a section, fundraisers will be able to choose which image to use as their page's banner image.
- To see that this image looks like, from the fundraiser page, return to the campaign and select the Website link.
- Select the Login button to access your fundraiser dashboard.
- Your new default banner image displays above the member image.
