Pledges can be submitted by a fundraiser directly through their fundraiser dashboard as offline donations. Pledges can also be submitted by an administrator on behalf of a fundraiser. To do this, you will enter the donation payment method as a pledge.
Submitting Pledges
- Log into your administration dashboard. From the Transactions menu, select Donations,
- Select the Make Donation button to access the new donation form.
- On this form we can create a donation for a new donor or an existing user.
- The required fields for the Donor section include: first name, last name, and email. Complete the fields within this section.
- Select where you would like your pledge to be donated to. You can choose from general, member, or team. Select Pledge in the Payment section along with the amount.
- Select the Verified checkbox. This indicates that this donation has been viewed and approved by an administrator.
- Enter the donor’s address. When finished, select Donate.
Fulfilling Pledges
Now that the pledge has been submitted, when the funds are received, an administrator can fulfill the pledge by submitting a credit transaction.
- From the administrator dashboard, select Transactions tab and select Donations.
- Locate the donation that needs to be fulfilled. You can sort or filter your list to find the donation if needed. Double click on the donation to open it.
- Select Fulfill Pledge.
Note: If the donation has not yet been verified, you can verify it by selecting the Verify button.
- The User section should populate the existing user that submitted the pledge. Before continuing, review this information to ensure you have selected the correct pledge. When finished, select Next.
- Like entering and offline donation, when receiving funds, pledges are also being verified by the administrator. Select the Verified checkbox. Then, select Next.
- We need to make sure that the user selected is the user who submitted the pledge. When finished, select Next.
- Select the payment method used for the donation from the Payment Method dropdown list. Select Add Credit.
