Donation Page Update
We're excited to announce a design update to the donation page. This update incorporates both some slight aesthetic improvements, and some layout changes to improve conversions. Importantly, our data shows that the design update as much as doubles conversions compared to the previous/current design! That could translate to a significant improvement when every donation counts.
Here is the full list of changes:
- Amount buttons are located above the amount input field at 100% width. (Image 1, 2)
- Amount buttons are now gray instead of bordered. (Image 1, 2)
- Recurring options are now presented in large featured buttons instead of a checkbox option. (Image 1, 2)
- Donor information is requested within the chosen payment method. This is especially useful when the donor chooses an external processing service, like PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay, for which their personal information is captured from those services, thereby saving the user from having to fill out these fields, leading to better conversion rates. (Image 3)
- Donor information fields are grouped together more tightly, reducing the physical size of the donation form. (Image 3)
- The donation message field can now be collapsed by default, which reduces the length of the form even further. (Image 4)
Other than those listed above, there are no functional changes to the donation form; all the features and configurations work the same. However, if there is any custom styling or scripts on the form, we cannot predict exactly how the change will affect it.

Neon Pay Integration Update
In addition to the above changes, customers who are integrated with Neon Pay will see additional changes to the donation page. These changes come with a tighter integration with Neon Pay, which allows for more processor options, more donation options, and built-in backup contingencies.
The front end changes you will see with this migration include:
- The credit card fields now change slightly to include number, expiration, and cvv in a single field. (Image 5)
- The ACH/bank account flow is now handled through a popup, where the user logs in to connect their account. (Image 6)
