New:
Tax-Deductibility for Transactions

Tax-Deductible Amount, Non-Deductible Amount, and Non-Deductible Amount description fields are now available in the Import Manager when importing new donations, membership transactions, and event registrations.
- The equivalent fields for Canadian organizations (Eligible Amount, Advantage Amount, and Advantage Description) are also available.
- We've also added these fields to donation, membership, event, and financial reports, as well as one-click reports and daily reports.
- These fields are also now available in workflows triggered based on a donation, membership, or event registration.
- Tax-Deductible Amount can now be displayed when viewing transactions in the Constituent Login Portal.
- To display this field for different transaction types, navigate to Global Settings > Constituent Portal > Transaction Field Display.

New transaction total fields are now available in account and mailing reports, Campaign Emails, and Campaign Letters.
- These fields include: Annual Transaction Totals, Annual Transaction Totals including Soft Credits, and Annual Tax-Deductible Amount Totals.

New table tokens <<Current Calendar Year Itemized Tax-Deductible Contribution Table>> and <<Last Calendar Year Itemized Tax-Deductible Contribution Table>> are available in system emails, system letters, campaign emails, and campaign letters.
- This token will output a table of all transactions for the year with a tax-deductible amount and will include: Transaction Amount and Date, Tax-Deductible Amount, Tender Type, Transaction Type, and some details about each transaction (Campaign Name, Description of in-kind contribution, Event Name, Membership Name, or Store Product Name).

The "Donation Summary" content block in Campaign Emails has changed to a "Transaction Summary" and can optionally include all transaction types (event registrations, memberships, and/or store purchases in addition to donations).
- The Tax-Deductible Amount, Non-Deductible Amount, and Non-Deductible Amount Description can optionally be displayed.
CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) Receipts
- We've added a new annual consolidated receipt option in the CRA module. You will find a new tab named "Annual Receipts" where all constituents with an Eligible Amount will be listed by year.
- These receipts are optional and can be triggered whether previous transaction receipts have been issued to the constituent for the year or not.
- Skipped transactions and in-kind donation transactions will not be include (per CRA requirement, in-kind donations must receive a separate receipt).
- Annual receipts can be issued by email and/or letter and the cover letter content can be customized inside Global Settings > System Emails/Letters.
Memberships
- We've updated the look and feel of the Membership Settings page under Global Settings > Memberships > Settings.
- Complimentary Memberships are now solely configured under Global Settings > Memberships > Complimentary Memberships.
- We've improved the Add-on Donation options for Memberships to support recurring donations and to allow clients to rename the specific text in the form builder.
New Events
- When creating or editing an event, you can now save your progress at any stage, even if required fields are incomplete. Opt for 'Save and Exit' in the wizard interface or simply 'Save' in edit mode to preserve your work as a draft, and feel free to skip steps in the process.
- Validation now appears to inform you of required details needed to publish an event.
- The Archive Event function has been relocated to the action menu of the event overview page.
- You can now copy events, providing a swift way to duplicate an event with a similar setup, saving valuable time compared to creating from scratch. Simply select the event and choose Copy Event from the action menu.
- The Fair Market Value option has now been renamed Non-Deductible Amount to better align with the updates mentioned above. By default, tickets are not tax-deductible. This change does not affect previously-created tickets.
Forms & Pages
- The add-on donation option for new membership forms now allows recurring donations. Additionally, you can now customize the label used for this add-on option.
Emails & Letters
- To assist with end-of-year preparation, we have added two Year-End Receipt Templates. You will find a Campaign Email draft in the Email Campaigns list, and a letter draft inside Campaign Letters.
Workflows
- The Donor Welcome Series one-click workflow has been updated to include a new "Subject Line Tone" setting inside each external email. Using this dropdown, you can select from 5 recommended "tones" for writing assistance while building your emails. After adding a suggested subject line, additional edits can be made.
Social Media
- Twitter branding has been updated to X where applicable.
Fixed:
- Fixed an issue where updates made to the Individual Type field via the Import Manager were not reflected in the Action Log.
- Fixed an issue where the activity reminder email would not be sent again after changing the start date of an activity.
- Fixed an issue where URL format was not validated for relevant fields in the Organization Profile.
- Various behind-the-scenes bug fixes and performance enhancements.
- Various wording fixes and revisions.
