Enabling Donation Matching
1. Select Forms in the navigation menu.
2. Select Donation Settings on the drop-down menu.
3. Scroll down to the Donation Matching section and toggle on the Enable Donation Match Form option.
Now that donation matching has been enabled, this campaign will allow constituents to choose to become a donation matcher (i.e., match donations made by other constituents). Now let’s turn on the Promote Matchers widget in Site Builder to promote the donation matching option. This will allow constituents to have the option to sign up to be a donation matcher.
Enabling the Promote Matchers Widget
1. Navigate back to the campaign overview page. Select Site Builder in the left column menu.
2. Select the Widgets icon on the Site Builder menu bar.
3. Select the Show icon in the Promote Matchers widget option. (The widget is activated when it turns white.)
4. Select Publish.
A message appears indicating the change has been made to the site.
Now that the donation match widget has been enabled, a Match This Campaign button appears on the campaign home page (as seen below). Additionally, on individual fundraiser pages, a Match My Page button appears (as seen below). A constituent may access the donation matcher form using either of these buttons.
