This page details the new functionality, changes, and fixes included in the November Neon CRM product updates.
New:
Tax Deductibility for Transactions

Tax Deductible Amount, Non-Deductible Amount, and Non-Deductible Amount Description fields are now available for donations, memberships, and store order transactions.
- When editing a campaign, store product, or membership term, you can set the default values for these fields. These fields can also be manually edited by system users for individual transactions.
- These fields are also available as system email & letter tokens, as well as search criteria & output columns in the following reports:
- Donation Detail Report
- Event Registration Report
- Itemized Transaction Report
- Membership Detail Report
- Payment Report
- Transaction Report
Forms & Landing Pages
- We've consolidated the legacy and new forms lists. Legacy and new forms are both available under Forms & Pages > Forms.
- Note: Surveys are still located under Forms & Pages > Surveys.
- A new list for landing pages (ex: Constituent Portal login) is now available under Forms & Pages > Landing Pages.
- You can set up to 6 favorite forms and landing pages to appear at the top of each list for easy access.
System Emails & Letters
- A new system email & letter, Pledge Overdue Notice, is now available.
- Similar to the Membership Overdue system email & letter, you can configure schedules to notify donors that their pledges are overdue.
CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) Receipts
- CRA receipts will now be provided as PDF attachments to emails, rather than displaying within the body of the email itself.
- We've made some content and formatting adjustments based on your feedback, including reducing blank space and hiding the Discount Total line item when a discount is not applied.
- Within CRA Receipt system email & letter settings, you can now choose to upload an image of a signature to appear on your receipts.
- A new Global Settings page allows you to configure your preferred automatic behaviors for both emailed and printed CRA receipts, similar to the System Email & Letter Defaults page.
- You can now choose to automatically attach CRA receipt PDFs to the following system emails: Donation Appreciation, Event Registration, Membership Registration, Membership Renewal Completion Notice, and Purchase Acknowledgement.

You can now choose to automatically move receipts for transactions with $0 eligible amounts into the Skipped list.
- CRA fields are now available as search criteria and output columns in transaction-related reports.
Memberships & Membership Directories
- We've made several adjustments to new membership directories based on your feedback:
- Field names (ex: First Name) now display on membership directory profile pages.
- Field names can now be customized when configuring membership directories.
- The width of membership directory profile pages has been adjusted to prevent line breaks for longer fields.
- We've adjusted the wording and behavior of the failed auto-renew membership message displayed to system users.
Import Manager
- The Deceased Date field is now supported within the Import Manager.
Onboarding
- After completing the Organization Onboarding Worksheet, you can now choose to download a copy of your responses.
Fixed:
- Fixed an issue where forms and pages linked to Portal Pages could be unpublished.
- Fixed Safari-specific display issues with new events.
- Fixed various issues with the navigation menu when taking actions on new event pages.
- Fixed an issue where new events with evening start times incorrectly displayed as starting on the following date.
- Fixed an issue where links in activity reminder emails directed users to the Constituent Login page instead of the system user login page.
- Fixed an issue with loading the Member Report when the Membership Auto-Renewal output column was included.
- Various behind-the-scenes bug fixes and performance enhancements.
- Various wording fixes and revisions.
