Sequential Emails allowed you to create basic automated email series using 5 preset trigger options.
If you hadn't created any Sequential Emails by June 10th, 2023, then this feature was already hidden from your Neon CRM system. If you've used Sequential Emails in the past and would like to recreate your email series, this guide walks through how you can set up the same functionality within Workflows.
Record Creation Date
To create a workflow which will automatically run when a new account is created, go to Workflows > Workflows and click the New Workflow button.
Click Select Trigger, then click on Event. Next, click on Account Created.
Next, you'll confirm who should be captured by this workflow. Click Select Targets.
If you want to limit the scope of the workflow to certain types of accounts (for example, only accounts within a certain State/Province), you can click the Select Targets button and choose "Filter Using Criteria" in order to enter the search criteria of your choice.
If you want the workflow to run for all newly-created accounts, then just select All Accounts.
Finally, click the Add Action button to specify which Action(s) should occur when the workflow runs.
To send emails to accounts meeting the workflow target, select the Send External Email Action. Then, build your email content.
If you want to send another email after the first one, you can click Add Action again, then select Add Time Delay. For example, maybe you want to send another email 5 days after the first one. Add your time delay, then add another Send External Email Action for the next email in the sequence.
Repeat these steps as needed - you can add up to 15 Actions to a workflow!
