Note: At this time, it is not possible to migrate your event between Legacy Events and Next Generation Events after making your selection. Legacy Events and Next Generation Events have separate shopping carts. To avoid confusion with your constituents, we recommend using either Legacy Events or Next Generation Events (not both) when you need to sell multiple events simultaneously. |
Legacy Events
Legacy Events works best with complex pricing, including conference events and sponsor/group tickets.
The features include:
- Custom Fields
- Group Tickets
- Add-on Donations
- Member Pricing
- Conference Sessions (Including add-on pricing)
- Attendee Waiver
- Waitlists
Next Generation Events
Next Generation Events are best used for educational classes/workshops, arts performances, and general admission events, including digital tickets.
The features include:
- Tickets (Digital and Printed)
- Assigned Seating (Premium Feature)
- Event Frequency Configuration
- Attendee Check-In
- Ticket Exchanges
- Waitlists (automated - "notify me" and priority)
- Add-On Donations
- Specifying Attendees
Please note that the Next Generation Events feature is only available to organizations with Neon CRM Impact or Empower packages AND Neon Pay as the payment processor.
