Create a Volunteer Time Sheet
1. At the Mission Control Dashboard, navigate to Volunteer and select Time Sheets.
2. Select New Time Sheet.
3. Select By Opportunity. Select the name of the Opportunity in the Opportunity field. Select from the list of volunteers. You can add more than one, but if you do, they will all have the same information imported on their time sheets. Additionally, you can add a Shift and Role from the corresponding dropdown menus.
4. Complete the hours, expenses, and mileage for the volunteers.
Note: When entering a time sheet as a system user, you have the option of approving, submitting without approving, and saving the time sheet as a draft. For this example, we will set it for pending approval.
Approve a Volunteer Time Sheet
There are multiple ways to access pending time sheets. On the time sheet page you can filter for time sheets that need approval for a specific opportunity. Alternatively, you can access timesheets from the volunteer opportunity list or detail page.
We will approve through the volunteer opportunity list page.
1. Navigate to Volunteer and select Opportunities.
2. Select the number next to Pending, under the hours column for the opportunity.
3. Use the action icon to approve the time sheets in each row.
You can also select the checkmarks on the left and update status for all time sheets selected.
